3 months old!

This week I decided to travel to my sister's house and I would stay Monday-Thursday. It would be the longest drive with Addie that we have taken so far. I planned to leave right after her morning feeding and get up there before my sister left for work. Needless to say, that didn't happen. I ended up leaving at 10a and had to stop in Marion to feed her and pump. It was a crazy sight. I hopped in the back seat and got ready to pump, then gave her the bottle. I hope they couldn't see me on the security cameras!! :) Once I arrived at my sisters I decided to take a nap with Addie. Ohhh it was so good to get some rest! Heidi had a meeting after school so she didn't get home with the boys until 7:30ish. I love watching her with the boys and how she handles what they throw at her. Carter will be 3 in June and Landon will be 2 in July. Yes, tons of fun but you definitely need patience, which I am working on, but Heidi has amazing patience. I learn so much from her each time we are together.

Let me back up a second...Addie is 3 months old this week! Crazy I know! Time has flown by so fast I can't even believe it. Here is her three month old pic!

While I was at my sister's we visited one of her friends (to borrow a swaddle because I forgot mine!) that she hangs out with in her moms group. She was telling me that Laura (friend) is awesome at keeping up with her blog and she actually has made a book from her blog. Cool stuff huh! Well my previous track record with blogs is not great, so I am challenging myself and holding myself accountable to this blog because it will mean so much to me when I can look back on our life and what all we have done. Addie is growing up and I want to make sure I document all the fun stuff! Don't worry, I will post the not-so-fun stuff as well! :) So I really want to start off from when Addie was born, so my next post will be the beginning of our family and then I will catch up to present time! I am inspired and dedicated!

The boys love Addie and are so cute with her! They tell her they love her and shower her with kisses. Carter is a great helper and Landon loves to pet her like a puppy. Sometimes he doesn't know his own strength but he will get it. Anytime Adelynn would cry Carter would tell me she was sad. How cute is that! They call her "Baby Adelynn" not Addie, not Adelynn...baby Adelynn :)

We played outside with the water toys, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bats and balls, went to play group, played at the park, and celebrated Aunt Katie's birthday with cake and ice cream! Our days were jam packed with fun activities! I had such a wonderful time!
