Story time at the Library
Addie has started to stand on her own and take a couple steps! She is so cute because when she takes a couple steps, it catches her off guard and she gets excited and then drops to the ground. Her longest walk has been 15 steps! Edd and I were so funny watching her. It was something I will never forget. We both looked at each other and smiled and laughed. These are the moments that I love.
She is also starting to say "ball" along with Mama and Dada.
Her food and sleep schedule consists of:
7:30a or 8a: Wake up + rice cereal + 4 oz
10a: 4 oz. + NAP
12p: wake up + peanut butter sandwich bites + yogurt + banana
2p: 4 oz + NAP
4p: wakeup + meat + pureed veggies + pureed fruit
6p: rice cereal + snack (cheese puffs)
7p: 4 oz + bedtime!
She has already started to fight her second nap which everyone tells me it way too early to cut it out, so I have just been putting her in the crib and letting her fuss for a little bit. She moves around so much and starts to play with her stuffed animals that are in the crib. Sometimes she eventually goes down, but cries and fusses for a little bit. A little quiet time for this mama is well needed though.
We have been going to story time at the library where we have met some great friends! Play dates have been more frequent with other kids and Addie is starting to become gentle with how she plays with them. Sharing toys is starting to become a problem but I just have to be strict and keep enforcing the toy sharing rules.
Addie is so fun to play with as well. She loves books and will bring books over to you so you can read them to her. I know most of the books by heart because I have read them so many times to her!
