Mother's Day

For Mother's Day we traveled to my parents house in Bucyrus, Ohio. My sister's family also made the trip. We decided to go up on Saturday afternoon and then spend the night. It is always nice to get to spend time with family...but this was my 1st Mother's Day! I was so stinkin excited! Addie gave me a necklace that says "Mom, you are the heart of the family" :)

We took family pictures as well which was fun to get the kids together!

Now that I have a child, I can relate to what my mom went through growing up. She would always say "Time goes by so fast!" I am always worrying about Adelynn and how she is feeling, etc... I don't think the worrying will ever stop. Mom says it doesn't. :( She still worries about me and Heidi.

Being a mom is so rewarding. It still amazes me that she is our child. One of my favorite things is going to get her in the morning from her crib. She always gives me the biggest smile that melts my heart everyday.
