softball

Edd plays softball on Thursday nights with his Uncle Tom and a bunch of people that live in their neighborhood. I love taking Addie and watching him play. They are not very good but it is nice to socialize and get to see family each week. It is getting really nice out and the sun is super strong so I needed to find Addie a sun hat that will fit her small dome. I finally found one at Baby Gap...love that store!

Some Thursdays I am scheduled to work, so Edd's Aunt Theresa watches Addie during the games. She loves getting to spend some time with Addie! One Thursday I was called off work so I went to the game. As we pulled in Aunt Theresa's face was so sad when she saw me! That game we just acted like I wasn't there and she took care of her! Too funny!

It is so good for Edd to get out and have some normalcy again. Everyone told me that the father really needs something that makes him feel like he did before baby. The softball league is a fun activity for the whole family! I'm glad he decided to play. (At the beginning I was super frustrated because I wanted to go to work and also have ME time, but after going to the games, I realized it was a good idea!)
