Thanksgiving 2012

Bob and Heidi traveled down to our house on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. I was super excited because that meant we were able to spend more time with them! Our whole family hit up the zoo lights on Wednesday night. (Bob tore his Achilles tendon so he was on crutches!) Bob had to rent a scooter to get around the zoo, which sucks but was hilarious.

 

We signed the family up to participate in a race on Thanksgiving morning downtown Columbus. The boys would also get to run a 100 meter dash and get a shirt and a treat afterwards. Heidi had told them about this a couple weeks before and everytime we chatted over that two week time period Carter would tell me about it! It was so cute! As soon as they got to our house on Wednesday, he said he was going to run and was then going to get a treat! Heidi prepared for the worst and took treats just in case they didn't get one! I was able to capture some cute moments of the boys/mom/Heidi running!

We had our family Thanksgiving at our cousins house in Powell. There are 7 kids in all...lots of craziness! It was a lot of fun and so great to see everyone. Here are some pics!

We are thankful for so many things this year. The biggest one is a healthy happy family. Family means everything to us and we are thrilled for what God has given us. We look forward to this next year of memories!
