Addie has been a great big sister and is awesome with Lincoln. She always wants to kiss him on the head, toes, fingers, belly! She can't stop kissing him. We are constantly working with her on being gentle. I have no idea how many times I say the word gentle in one day...it's a lot!
I know she was the center of my attention for 15 months so I have been really trying to give her some undivided attention when I can. When Edd gets home from work, I will take her on a walk by herself or take her downstairs to play. She actually has adjusted very well and I think because I had watched Scarlett and Raphy. She was used to having another kid there so the jealously factor doesn't exist. This could also be because she is only 15 months old, but I will take it!
She is talking up a storm right now! Mostly words that I can't understand yet, but I like to play a fun game and guess what she is saying! The main words she can say are: momma, daddy, no, no way, and cat!
Food is definitely an issue with her. She loves hot dogs, mac & cheese, string cheese, oatmeal, fruit pouches, yogurt, waffles, pancakes and snacks! No veggies at all! She will spit them out and tell me NO! So I have been trying to buy the fruit pouches that have some veggie in them so she is getting a small taste of them. It is super hard to get her to eat different foods. I think I am going to try a different approach with Lincoln and food...I just have to figure that out! :)
As of right now (17.5 months) she is still moving back and forth from one nap to two. It depends on the day and what we have planned. When I stayed at Heidi's for a couple days, she only took one, but at home she tends to take two. I'm not sure if she is super bored with me in the morning or what!
All in all, Addie has been a great sport about being a big sister!
