Lincoln 1 month - Addie 16 months

Whew! These last couple months have been a whirlwind! I need to catch up on this blog! First things first! Lincoln's monthly pictures! He is now three months old! The time has flown by and I am just getting my feet under me again :)

 One Month
16 Months - 1 month

Lincoln is so big compared to Addie when she was a month old! He is my "tank"...although he isn't chunky, he is just filled out. Some difference I see in Lincoln from Addie are that he is super cuddly. I definitely think he is going to be a mama's boy. Also, he is very stiff, and when I say stiff I mean STIFF! He doesn't really like to bend his legs that much. I am constantly moving them and bending them for him to get used to it. Whenever I hold him up on my shoulder, his legs are completely straight. Addie always used to be a puddle of mud around me!

He has stolen my heart completely... I never thought I would love another child and I was very scared to throw a second one in the mix, but it is a different love that I never felt for Addie. Don't get me wrong, I love Addie so much and I love Lincoln....but the love I feel for each of them is so different. I can't even explain it. I look at them both and my heart just feels all warm and fuzzy!

Addie is still super cute with him. She now goes and gets a diaper for me when I start to change him. She also brings the wipes container over for me! Whenever she sees poop in his diaper she says "potty"!

Addie is saying so many words it is unbelievable! I will say "Let's get ready to go home" and she starts saying "bye bye" to people. It is amazing to see how she is putting concepts together. She also has been interested in going potty on her potty. I haven't quite committed myself to training her yet just due to her age, but we will be trying soon! I have been putting her on her potty every now and then and she has went a couple times but nothing consistent.

*Lincoln's schedule
He is eating every 3 hours but still waking up for the 3am feeding time! (This didn't last long though)
About 2.5-3 ounces of milk and I am cluster feeding him at night!
He only fusses when he is hungry or wet!

*Edd and I have been excited for the growth of our little family but are in desperate need of a date night. We have fallen into the work, eat, sleep schedule and have found it hard to have a normal conversation with each other. I know this will take some time and some hard work, but it will be worth it :) He is such a great father and husband and I can't wait till the weekends come so I can see his face when he plays with the kids. I get so much joy out of seeing him with our little ones.
